NSI Gold

The National Security Inspectorate (NSI) is recognised as the leading certification body for the security & fire sectors in the UK. For over 40 years, we’ve helped protect businesses and homeowners by providing high quality audits of home and business security and fire safety service providers.

Action Counters Terrorism (ACT Campaign)

This campaign urges the public to report suspicious activity to help police bring dangerous offenders to justice and prevent terror attacks in the UK and overseas.

BAFE

For more than 25 years, BAFE Approval Schemes have set the standards for the fire protection industry. Amax are proud to hold a full BAFE accreditation.

Fire Industry Association (FIA)

The FIA is a not-for-profit organisation formed originally by the merger of the Fire Extinguishing Trades Association (FETA) and the British Fire Protection Systems Association (BFPSA). It’s the largest fire protection trade association in UK.

Safe Contractor

Amax are proud to be a fully accredited Safe Contractor, for Confined Spaces, Ladders / Step Ladders, MEWPs, Working at Height, Working on Roofs, Working on Services,
Systems, and Equipment Requiring Isolation.

Molex

Molex is a manufacturer of electronic, electrical and fibre optic interconnection systems and Amax are certified to install the copper and fibre data transport solutions.

Assynia

The Assynia solution is a high performance structured cabling system, backed by a comprehensive 25 year warranty. Amax are an accredited installer of Assynia products in the UK.

Electrotechnical Certification Scheme (ECS)

The ECS is a partner of CSCS. Holding an ECS card proves your qualification status, main electrical occupation, identity and your health & safety awareness. All Amax engineers are accredited in the card scheme.Systems, and Equipment Requiring Isolation.

Certified Network Cable Installer (CNCI®)

This certification recognises an individual’s ability to demonstrate the highest levels of knowledge, skills and competency in network cable infrastructure, when undertaking the installation, termination and testing of copper and fibre optic networks.

International Powered Access Federation (IPAF)

IPAF promotes the safe and effective use of powered access equipment worldwide in the widest sense – through providing technical advice and information; through influencing and interpreting legislation and standards; and through safety initiatives and training programmes. All Amax engineers are IPAF qualified.

TAVCOM / BTEC NVQ3

Amax invest in their employees, all engineer are at least BTEC3 NVQ3 qualified through TAVCOM. TAVCOM provide credible and practical training courses to those ‘on the tools’.

Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS)

An industry recognised course providing companies who need to meet the ever increasing demand for evidence of health and safety compliance with all the relevant knowledge to meet today’s legislative demands. All Amax Project Manager are trained to this standard.

Prefabricated Access Suppliers’ & Manufacturers’ Association (PASMA)

PASMA is the recognised focus and authority for mobile access towers, advancing safety, standards and best practice across a wide range of sectors. All Amax engineers are PASMA qualified.

Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS)

SSSTS is the standard training for all supervisors working on Build UK sites. It gives an understanding of health, safety, welfare and environmental issues, highlighting legal responsibilities and the need to promote health and safety to supervise effectively. Amax lead engineers are qualified.

Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS)

DBS checks show details of spent and unspent convictions, cautions, reprimands and final warnings held on police records. All Amax engineers are security vetted and DBS checked, which is renewed annually via Metropolitan Police.
